This beautiful and decorative piece was made from locally sourced Ambrosia Maple wood in the Finger Lakes region of Upstate New York. It has been completely hollowed out and is purely for decoration.

Textured by hand, the top exudes added uniqueness, showcasing meticulous craftsmanship.

Ambrosia beetles bore into wood, introducing a fungus that creates beautiful streaking patterns as it colonizes the wood, visible in this piece. This unique collaboration among the beetle, fungus, and wood produces visually appealing designs highly sought after in woodworking.

Measurements:
8 1/8" wide x 5 1/8" tall

Finish:
Danish oil then buffed with Carnauba Wax

Every so often, wipe down with a microfiber towel to dust the piece. Do not use any cleaners or solvents.
Do not place in microwave, dishwasher or fridge.
